Prices are per piece - Tattoos can range from a starting price $250 to max day rate of $2000 which would be 10am till after dark. These types of large budget day/s projects are an extraordinary undertaking and are a huge energy exchange, hence the day rate. Prior to booking we can discuss accommodation and food for travellers or those just wanting to stay in the forest.

Tuesday till Saturday, 10am - 6pm (other arrangements can be made for late evening until early AM)

The more the merrier. We love having support people in the studio. To help keep the atmosphere calm and focused, we ask them to relax on the couch, give Ace and the client space to work, and maybe bring along something to keep themselves occupied during the session.

No sorry, we are by appointment only. This includes consultations and gallery visits.

Depends on pain tolerance and the type of tattoo you are getting (line work, solid fill, black and grey etc). Pain tolerance is always an open conversation and we are not opposed to numbing agents or painkillers being used in the studio.

Depends on the size of the piece, the design process, and your own pain tolerance and schedule. We’re very flexible and work in tune to everyone’s needs.

Ace’s process is organic and intuitive - We tailor each experience around each individual and no two are the same. When you get here, you will be welcomed and talked through each step of the process. It is very collaborative, and we design 95% of tattoos on the day which makes you a part of the process as much as us. This allows for quick alterations on the fly. If the design calls for it, Ace will design prior to appointment. After your session is finished, you will be given aftercare instructions and we’ll make sure you understand the healing process.

Between 2 days and 2 weeks, as it depends on style, placement and the client themselves. We tend to feel that tattoos settle and look their best after 3 - 6 months.

Depends on the type of tattoo you are getting - We will run you through what needs to be done near the end of the session, but for the most part, keep it clean, sanitary, and not too moist.

Yes - Legally we cannot tattoo minors under the age of 18. Other than that, all persons of any background and lifestyle are welcomed here. Exium Studio is a safe environment for all.

Ace will cry crocodile tears to the dog and take the day off.

We have a family to support and bills to pay. When a client cancels last minute or doesn’t show up, it’s really hard to fill that spot. We appreciate as much notice as possible, though we understand that sometimes things happen.

If you cancel or reschedule within 48 hours of your appointment, your deposit won’t be refunded. But if you give more than 48 hours’ notice, we’ll carry your deposit over to your new booking.

At this stage, we’re not accepting apprenticeships.
